thus these were his numbered men, just as te LORD had commanded Moses.
Numbers 4:48-49
God had commanded Moses and Aaron to assign various tasks to the
Levites. He assigned each one of the men and their families to serve
in some way the Lord's earthly temple. God set us apart in this age
as well. He has given each one of us a calling, a purpose in His
plan. Nut the problem isn't His assigning, it's our accepting. We
need to get moving on God's temple, the church and body of Christ Jesus!
Sometimes, almost all the time I don't hear God's plan fir my life...
but what I do hear is the next step. I hear what Hod wants me to do
in this exact moment. I can hear Him encouraging and convicting as I
go throughout my day. So what's the difference in the two? It's
about faith. My faith hinders what I do because I tend to take the
reigns of anything further than my nose. I need to be receptive to
the small things God is telling me because it's definitely pieces of
the grander.
Father God, thank You for being my love and companion in this world.
Each passing day is more confirmation that there's a greater purpose,
one that I fail to recognize. But I must press through my fears and
doubts keeping Your promises closer than ever. Love You, Jesus! Amen!
