1 Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of (A)those without strength and not just please ourselves. 2 Each of us is to (B)please his neighbor [a]for his good, to his (C)edification. 3 For even (D)Christ did not please Himself; but as it is written, “(E)THE REPROACHES OF THOSE WHO REPROACHED YOU FELL ON ME.” 4 For (F)whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.
Romans 15:1-4
God is again revealing that it's not about us; it's not about me. I'm being constantly reminded that God wants each of us to move in the way of the Spirit and live unselfishly, all out for Jesus.
Father God, You so craftily arrange all things for the good of all people! Than You for a wonderful message today at Rena's funeral service through the testimonies and Pastor Marcus' message. I'm more confirmed that the next step in Your plans for me... and I don't even know what that is! All I know is that You're preparing my heart to say "Yes Lord, You're servant is listening!" Thank You for this wonderful and glorious season to love You and my neighbors more and more! In Your Son's precious name I pray, amen!
